SOHAR Freezone has signed a land lease agreement with Integrated Solutions Plant and Land Services (FZC) LLC for 15,000 sqm within the Freezone to establish a liquid fertilizer plant. The project represents an investment of OMR 2.2 million and it includes the potential for future expansion which would see the plant produce ammonium sulphate to strengthen Oman’s export sector, especially in Pakistan and Tanzania.
