Anchorage Facilities
Anchorage zones are located 4-10 nautical miles offshore with depths ranging from 30 to 60 meters, suitable for vessels of all sizes. Year-round mild sea conditions make SOHAR Port ideal for operations like STS transfers and offshore maintenance.
Layby at Berth 25
Berth 25 offers convenient layby options for vessels between 160 and 220 meters in length overall (LOA). The jetty deck support access for trucks, mobile cranes and cherry pickers. Hot work is allowed with prior approval from the port.
Crew Changes and Logistics
Strategically located just 2-3 hours by road from Muscat and Dubai, and serviced by Sohar Airport, SOHAR Port ensures efficient crew changes and fast logistics.
Duty-Free Shop and Seafarers’ Club
Since June 2022, SOHAR Port has operated a modern duty-free shop and a seafarers’ club, offering a comfortable shore-side experience and access to essential goods for crew members.
